This first one is a great shot of Cottonwood Canyon. I found this one on the web so I'm not sure where it is exactly, but I have it labeled as being from Hole in the Rock, which is on the West side. So I think we're looking up the canyon towards the Little Hole in the Rock in the middle and off to the right, which would be our first campsite. The color in this photo is true to life.
The second photo was taken by JoAnn on our last trek in 2007 as we were approaching the top of Little Hole in the Rock from the East. I have spied the Hole in the Rock (West side) for the first time and you can barely see it in the background, or maybe not at all on this smaller version.
